Who We Are
Nikat Charitable Association is the only sex worker-led organization in Ethiopia, advocating for the rights, health, and dignity of sex workers. Established in 2010, Nikat empowers women through advocacy, peer education, and access to inclusive health services, creating a society where their voices are heard and respected.
Mission: Enhance the socioeconomic, psychological, and health status of sex workers in Ethiopia through advocacy, empowerment, and access to essential non-discriminatory services.
Vision: A Society where the sexual and reproductive health; human rights and dignity of sex workers are protected, respected and fulfilled.
